ZKE module problem?

Postby manfred on Sat Nov 28, 2009 3:56 am

Fuse 35 blows every time I turn the key in the door lock. How can I tell whether the ZKE module is at fault or there is a short in one of the harnesses (to one of the doors or the trunk lid)?

Coincidentally (?), last week, I detected a short in the wire leading from the Check Control Module to one of the license plate lights. I solved the problem by bypassing the Check Control Module and have both license plate lights fed by the same (healthy) wire.
