'97 E36 328i Coupe OBC Einheit 1 & 2 values

Postby O.J. on Thu Aug 20, 2009 5:54 pm

Hi,

I think some one was looking for E36 Einheit values for their unlocked 18 Button OBC. These mysterious values seem to be digital code (hex?) for switching on/off various states of equipment. To deep for me, all I know each E36 OBC I've looked at has different spec & therefore different Einheit codes.. It would be good to compile a list to help owners should they fit or replace their OBC. If you could send me your codes I'll try to do this- as their seems to be precious little any where on the net! It appears the full original spec' of the vehicle must be included for the code to be matched & work.. It would be very wise to write yours down also in case of entering an incorrect value at some point, or if you OBC ever needs to be replaced.

Anyway, For the record so far, my 1997 UK spec' 328i Coupe with Air-Con, Drivers Air Bag & Heated Washers has Einheit 1 & 2 of 79 & FF respectively. I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS WILL WORK WITH YOUR VEHICLE- USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

If any one is wondering what the heck this is all about- check out articles relating to unlocking the OBC for lots of hidden functions!

Best Wishes, O.J.
