'P' Reg 328 Tourer (Manual)

Postby Smiler on Fri Nov 25, 2011 8:27 pm

Hello folks, new on here but possibly looking at a car tomorrow and after some advice.

As you've guessed from the title, the car is a 'P' reg 325 Tourer with manual box and just over 100K on the clock. Are these cars worth getting interested in or is it likely to cost me sleepless nights? The car is fully loaded with all the electrical toys and gubbins. Are things such as climate control reliable? Does the E36 suffer the same sill corrosion issues rampent in old age E34's? Is the engine way too big for everyday use with todays fuel prices (24 miles total commuting each day).

Lots of questions I know but just trying to get a feel for the cars. It will be replacing a tired '94 E34 525TDS.

Thanks for any help,
Smiler.
