cant get any heat from my heaters

Hi ive got a 1997 318i e36 saloon and i cant get any heat into the car. I recently bought a new climate control unit and when it is unplugged i get heat. I thought maybe my radiator needed bled or change my thermastat what do you suggest anybody help im freezin to death

Have you checked the coolant in the radiator?
What have you checked so far?

check thermostat....i ad same problem nd turned out a small tube da ya connect into thermostat ad fallin out....if so simply connect bak in using glue around edges...

You may be low on coolant or have a thermostat stuck open if the engine temperature gauge stays in the cold range. A thermostat is cheap. Check the coolant level first or have it checked at a full service gas station. It could be something else such as a blend door problem.
