Crossed terminals while charging the battery

Postby Henry4HSR on Mon Apr 25, 2011 9:31 pm

My father crossed the terminals on my 1995 318i. now it turns over but there is no spark, and the radio display is all messed up. I replaced the ignition coils but that didn't seem to help.

Any thoughts?

I have to agree with davsurfa. First step would include checking all your fuses. I'd be surprised if some have not blown; and for your sake you better hope some are, otherwise there's no telling what got fried.
