M3 engine into e36 328i

What modifications would i have to do, if i wanted to fit an M3 engine from the E36 model into a E36 328i coupe. E.g cutting welding, and also could any parts of the 328i engine fit the M3 engine....

It will fit without any cutting or welding. If both are OBDII, it's pretty much plug and play.
