To anybody that care,

Postby unticofeliz on Thu Aug 27, 2009 9:31 pm

I sold my 92 Nissan 240sx hb with a SR20 turbo swap and about another $10,000 in dumped in it in the past five years. I worked fro Nissan for the past five year and was a die hard Nissan man untill I drove my friends E36 M3. I was hocked on that German car feel ever since and I'm a Nissan expert and know nothing about Euro's. I was laid off from Nissan recently, USA's econony SUCKS! I now studying in Orlando at Universal Technical Institute taking the BMW MSAT technician program to work for BMW. They are teaching us mostly theory and hopeing to do more hands on later. I just bought a 1995 BMW 325ic and it needs a new clutch and a new back window. I want a lighter flywheel and a clutch thats a little better than OEM. I really need to fix the back window its covered up with black duck tape right now. I'm also very interested in getting a hard top for my convertible, but I have no idea where to find one. I'm new to the Euro cene and this forum, so I appreciate any help I can get.

I have a '89 Supra, '86 300ZX and of course a '98 328i. They really aren't the different to work on... I can understand people wan't you to be qualified for specific brands but they are all internal combustion piston engines at the end of the day.

You won't find second hand hard tops for sale very often... Which leaves ringing your local BMW dealer as the best(but pricey) option. There is a couple of much bigger BMW forums(but not e36 specific) that have reasonable classified sections that you can have a look at but I don't like your chances.
