BMW E36 With E30 Side Mirrors

I have to admit that I never liked the stock BMW E36 (Not the M3) side mirrors. Every time I look at them, I find them a little bit ugly and doesn’t exactly fit my idea of BMW styling. Well, before you ask, I’m not an expert in car design, but it’s my opinion. On the other hand, I absolutely love the M-Tech side mirrors and they look just awesome. The problem is that if your car doesn’t have a body kit, you won’t be able to install these mirrors because they won’t mach the rest of the car.

To solve this problem, I suggest you consider the E30 side mirrors. Yes, you heard right, E30, not E36. If you’re not familiar with the E30 mirrors, they look great and their design is much better than the stock E36 ones. I love their design very much!

Today, I’ve found this photo of a BMW E36 with E30 side mirror. Unfortunately, it’s not clear enough, but it shows that the E30 mirrors will fit the E36 style even better than the stocks ones.

Take a look at this, don’t you agree?

I’m not sure how hard would it be to fit such mirrors in a BMW E36, but at least you know now that someone else did it already. So, it’s possible.

I will try to find a DIY (Do It Yourself) and I hope I will be able to find one to do just that.

18 Inch Wheels On BMW E36

Hi Guys,

I’ve seen many BMW E36 cars with 16", 17" and 18" wheel setups. I personally like the 17" wheels on BMW E36 cars most. The 16" wheels are too small and they don’t give the BMW E36 car the look it deserves, which leaves your car unappreciated. So, If I were to change my wheels, I would either go with the 17" or 18" setups. Now, if you want to go with either of these, you will have to take into account 2 factors that will help you decide:

1. Car’s engine:- If you’re riding a 318is like I do, then go with the 17". You can’t go wrong because, believe it or not, the 18" setup will put a heavy load on your engine and worsen your car’s performance.

2. Car’s suspension:- If you have a little low ride, like me (I have a stock sport suspension), then you can go with either 17" or 18". The trick is just to make sure you will not have any tire rubbing. For me, I have the 17" and they look fantastic on my car. If you have stock suspension, you can go either with 17" or 18". 18" is preferable unless you’re going to give your car a drop soon.

If you decided to go with the 18" and looking to give your car a little drop, you may either go with the 60mm drop or 40mm drop. The 60mm drop will make the car look cool, but it’s going to have tire rubbing (most likely) and it will definitely be a hard ride.

I’ve prepared some E36 pics with 18" wheel setup for you to check them out. Take a look:

BMW E36 318ti With Blue Theme

Hello, I was shocked today when I found these photos for a BMW E36 318ti. I’m not a fan of the ti cars, but occasionally I find some cars that look really awesome. Today, I didn’t find a cool looking car. Instead, I’ve found a car with a blue theme (if you want to call it a theme). The car is silver and the car’s owner decided (somehow!!) that adding some blue touches to the car will make it look better!

I think the car looks ugly as hell and provides a live example of what NOT to do with your car. This reminds me of a time when I thought that painting my calipers with light blue will look cool on my silver E30. I tried it and it looked like hell, so I repainted them the next day with light gray.

I’m not sure what this guy was thinking, but if I were him, I would lose every blue piece in this car to at least make the car look acceptable.

Black BMW E36 M3 . . . What Can You Do For It?

I usually post about a BMW E36 that needs too much work and I ask you what you can do to make it look great with minimum changes? Today, I’ve found this black BMW E36 M3 which looks great already, but I still think that it can look even better. So, I’m going to ask you what can you do to modify this car and make it look better with only ONE change?

Take a look:-

If it was up to me, I would change the headlights to one of the new types that come up in one piece (with the corner light). For instance the third type with angel eyes in BMW E36 Headlights. I’m sure it will make it look fabulous. What about you? What would you change?

BMW E36 With Double Exhaust

Unfortunately this BMW E36 is not highly modified for best performance and some how it needed another exhaust to help the engine breath better. It’s just a fake exhaust that the owner of the car thought it’s going to look cool on the car. The bad news is that it’s not even close to cool. At least in my opinion because I’ve read some replies about this image which agreed that it’s a cool thing, so there are people out there who think this will be a nice thing to do for a BMW E36. Me on the other hand, I really hate it and it makes the BMW E36 look ugly and a little bit silly. Anyway, I thought I would post about it here and see what you think of it. Important, if you have a bad heart or blood pressure problems, stop here and leave this page immediately 😆 . Have fun!
