BMW E36 Mods And Upgrades

Take a look at this thread on bimmerfest. It has a list of the most common mods/upgrades that can be made for your BMW E36 and best of all, the list is ordered by what you should do first. The list includes decent petrol to use for your car, good spark plugs like the NGK IRIDIUM IX, Good tires like Pirelli, Bridgestone and Yokohama, CAI (Cold Air Intake) but I’m not sure about the 10BHP gain as I read many posts about BMW owners not feeling any difference after that upgrade. To continue with the list Good brakes, Performance chip like (Dinan or Turner although I hear that Turner performance chip will make you feel the difference more in performance). These are the basic upgrades for your BMW.

If you’re interested in doing more advanced upgrades, follow the link above as it will provide you with more details and more procedures to give your BMW E36 stronger muscles 😉

BMW E36 Electric Supercharger Kit

If you’re like the rest of us, interested in enhancing your car’s performance, then I’m sure that you’ve heard of the Electric Supercharger kits. These are usually cheap and claiming that they will give you more HP (Horse Power) that can reach up to 10+hp 😆 . Well, I’ve decided to write this post to tell you all that this does NOT work. Take a look at this:

bmw e36 electric supercharger

This is an example of an electric supercharger kit which claims to save your fuel, enhance your car’s power and give you a faster acceleration. Well, don’t believe everything you read. These are called "leaf blowers" 😆 because they simply can’t provide your engine with the required amount of air that a real supercharger does. The funny thing about these electric superchargers is that they normally cost less than $100. So, how the hell BMW engineers skipped adding such an important feature to their high-tech engines? I’m sure they didn’t think about this idea LOL! .

Anyway, if you want to read about real superchargers that can really push your car’s performance, then you will need to read this and this. Please pay attention to the pricing on these bad boys. They usually cost thousands of dollars and this explains why they’re not installed in all standard cars. Enjoy and sorry if I have disappointed you in finding a cheap and easy way to boost your car’s performance 😀

BMW E36 M3 3.2 Racing

This is a video of a BMW E36 M3 3.2 liters in a race. The video title claims that it’s 472hp, but I’m not sure about this piece of information. What I liked about it is the performance. It’s really great and the sound of the car before appearing to the camera gives you the feeling that there’s a beast and it’s rushing to you. It’s reminding me of "Lost" when they hear that roar and they simply can’t tell what it is. I hope you like the video. By the way, the car is a compact E36.

Enjoy :-

BMW E36 M3 EVO vs Porsche 996 911 Turbo!

I have always enjoyed watching the BMW E36 videos in the race track. I’ve posted Aggressive BMW E36 325i in the race track before and many other videos. It seems I can’t get enough of that. Today, I’ve found a BMW E36 M3 Evo racing against a Porsche 911 turbo. Although the BMW E36 M3 was behind the Porsche almost all the time, but the race was really cool and you keep telling the BMW E36 driver … "come on man let’s beat that silly Porsche" LOL! 😆 . I don’t know about you, but for me, that’s what I was trying to say to the BMW E36 driver.

Take a look and let’s see how you like it:-

Turbo Charged BMW E36 318is

I have found this video of a BMW E36 318is with a turbo. I timed it and it went from 0 to 60 in 6.3 seconds. I think this is very good for a BMW 318is. I know that modifying a 318 is not a good thing to do and it’s better to start on a 325 or something. But I like this result for the 318is. What do you think guys?

Enjoy…

I hope you liked the video . . . if not, come on let’s see your videos 😉
