BMW 330i Without Driver (Driverless BMW) . . . Insane!

Have you heard about a car that doesn’t need a driver before? I know I did hear that before and it was like many theories about how to control the car and how the car can determine the path that it’s going to take … etc. Today, I’ve found a video of a real BMW car (not a theory) that can drive by itself. I know it is crazy!. I’ve seen BMW cars that can park without the need for their driver intervention (driverless parking) like these videos:

But this new technology is really cool! I absolutely LOVE it. This makes you wonder about the future and how it’s going to be. I think in the near future a BMW car will wake up in the morning, go to work while you’re sleeping in your bed, and at the end of the day, it will come back home and just hand you the money 😆 wouldn’t that be great?!

Take a look:

BMW M3 VS BMW 645Ci

If we setup a race between a BMW E46 M3 and a BMW 645Ci, which car do you expect to win? I know that BMW M3’s are muscle cars, but when it comes to competing with the new BMW 6 series, do you think they have a chance? Check this video to see if you guessed it right or not.

Enjoy.

What do you think? I really didn’t expect this result AT ALL! What about you?

Upgrade Your Car Audio System Easily

I used to have a BMW E30 with a sound system before I got my BMW E36 318is car. The sound system had a Sony Xplod head unit, Kenwood Speakers, Kenwood subwoofer and Boschmann Amplifier. I really miss that sound system sometimes. It had a magnificent sound with a deep bass that I used to really enjoy. Since I had my new E36, I don’t enjoy my music like I used to simply because I don’t have high quality sound system. I wrote previously about installing Pioneer speakers inside my car without cutting through metal. This gave my audio system a push, but I still don’t like the sound that much. The only logical choice for me was to install a new amplifier and subwoofers to gain the quality I used to have, but since I love my new car and I don’t want to cut through metal, I decided not to get those big subwoofers. I also hate to fill my trunk with a sound box too, so I throw both solutions out of the window. Yesterday, I was looking for some audio upgrades and I’ve found this Audiobahn Enclosures (Subwoofer + Amplifier). Take a look:

These cuties have:
1. Small Space: So, I don’t have to cut through metal anymore and I don’t need to put it in my trunk either. I will just put it on the rear seat which I don’t use that often.
2. Integrated 120Watts Amplifier: Cool!
3. Nice looking box: OK, I hate the chrome a little bit, but what can I say, life is not perfect!
4. The kit costs $157

Take a look at the kit:

It has:
Subwoofer, 120W Amplifier, Bass Control Knob, RCA Inputs. Everything you need to install them!

I think this choice is awesome! You upgrade your audio system with bass and without the headache. I hope you like it, I think it’s brilliant.

Get Your Email @bmwe36blog.com

I’ve made some changes to the BMWE36BLOG.COM hosting account in order to be able to create a larger number of email addresses. The idea behind this is to be able to provide the readers of this blog with an email address (for instance mike@bmwe36blog.com) in exchange for a little amount of money that you pay on monthly basis. I have prepared two types of emails. One with 50MB quota which costs 10$/mo and another type with 10MB quota for 5$/mo. I know this is not the best offer on the web, but I was hoping to get some of you to register their emails as a way to support this blog. At first, I was expecting to get at least 50 requests for emails since I put the "Support Me" image on the left sidebar, but believe it or not, I didn’t receive any requests until now. I just thought that you might be interested in getting such an email account. Anyway, please feel free to comment about this and whether getting an email from this blog is going to be a cool thing or not.

Read more about this here or you can order an email account here:

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

I’ve seen some videos for a racing game called Gran Turismo 5 and I was shocked to see them. They are really amazing!! I’ve posted before about the Forza Motorsport game and I was really excited about it and about how good the graphics were. Today, I have changed my mind. The new Gran Turismo 5 game which can be played on Sony Playstation 3 is away much better. I didn’t try to play the game yet, but I’m almost sure I will like it. Take a look at this video. It’s the official trailer for the game.

Enjoy.

Gran Turismo

And this is a video for a BMW 135i inside the Gran Turismo 5 game (Yes BMW has new series called 1-series in case you don’t know) . It looks great and almost real to me. Pay attention to the driver, it made me laugh sometimes when taking shortcuts to win the game. LOL!

What do you think of this game? Have you tried it before?
