For those of you who like to fix their BMW car(s) by themselves, I recommend you to get the Bentley BMW 3 series service manual which is one of the best books I've ever read. I got it and recommend you to get one for you as it will save you too much time and money while fixing your car.

Hi Guys,

Daniel was so kind to send me some pics of his BMW E36. That was long time ago and I couldn’t publish something about this car until today. I always have a full schedule … you know ;-) .

The car looks really cool with the special touches and colors (I especially like the Plasma guages and the great sub & amplifier). The only thing that is upseting me is that Daniel is going to get rid of her because of the UAE regulations which is banning old cars. What a shame!

Take a look at the photos, then let’s hear your opinions…

So ugly! Damn… Sorry man, nothing personal. It’s just my opinion.
For me a perfect example for a good looking E36 is “Miss July 2007″ from “Our Models” section.
I can give other examples from the same section, but I don’t think it’s necessary.

Ugly? I think it is a good looking E36, with amazing interiors. ‘Overlit’ maybe (in my country those blue underlights are considered tasteless), and those wheels are not my cup of tea, but overall a nice E36. Received lots of attention and love, and it shows.

Oh, and who do they think they are? Banning old cars from streets… Smells like government taking care of car dealers needs, and screwing up regular citizens.

You can legislate and enforce emission limits and stuff, but banning cars purely based on age is stupid.

Rims are great, but the bumpers should be the same color as the car… Grey is not cool! :D
Interioer looks like a spaceship :D:D really cool :D Not my taste, though still cool! :D

Thanks Guys for the comments on my Bimmer!
Really felt bad when I read the new law on the local newspapers… I even started to save on a new M3 front bumper, and got some new friends who can get me some side skirts, strut bar, dickie spoiler and led tail lamps! Did not even got the chance to install my Eibach Pro-Kit Springs… Guess I have to sell it all…. huhuhu

Just want to share with you guys…
I still remembered when I opened all the lights (including the dual Knight Rider beams inside the grill and underglow w/ strobe lights underneat the car) my 3yrs old niece asked me.. “Is that an Airplane?” then everybody started to laugh! While my nephew believes that my bimmer is a Transformer! hahaha
They too will surely miss Her…

QUICK QUESTION: Does anyone knows the “Vechicle Import Laws” in the Philippines? - I think I’ll send her to my home country….

    Thanks guys for your support!!!

I was wondering how you liked the headlights…I’m planning on buying a set just like those, but i’d really like to know how well the projectors work over the stock headlights that barely shine unless they’re aimed high……

    Dear

TIM - Thanks! I installed the “CREAM” steering wheel cover just to go with the color of the seat covers, i also placed some “CREAM” seat belt cussions! :) Just liked a light interior…

KEN - The headlights are great! But you have to properly install and adjust them, as the beam levels should be just right, not blinding the oncoming drivers…
it came with a high density Halogen bulbs (which is brighter than the ordinary ones), but you can change the bulbs with HID ones (so you’ll have a brighter view at night)… and note, the “Angel Eyes” i got doesn’t have the electronic light beam level adjuster, but it’s ok, it looks better than the stock lamps :) I usualy turn on my fog lamps instead of the head lights (as seen on the picts above).. much nicer to see at night. I also suggest to install the upper EYE BROWS, to have a more aggressive look! :)

    Thanks for your comments!

    Regards,
    Daniel

    Dear Tony & Guetzer,

    Sorry to reply so late….
I’ve drove back to the place I got the gauges, the gauges were all gone except for a last piece, for an E36 318…. Anyways, I’ve also searched the internet but I can’t locate the Brand names!!! The one I got was made by “HOWELL” brand (dark green box), I also looked around the box & manual, but there are no marks from where it was made! Even the salesperson doesn’t want to share the info!!! Maybe it’s from China? And you can also try to look for a “R-Dash” gauges (blue box)brand, for me, the quality is a bit lower than the Howell one…

I’ll update you guys once I gain more info on this…

    Regards,
    Daniel
