I’ve found a website which contains a list of the BMW color codes. Check it out here. In case you are interested in determining the color name for your car, simply get the color code number by looking in the engine bay then, look it up in the table in the website above. The website has a PDF version of that list as well in case you’re interested in downloading it for offline reference.

I’ve found a collection of tuned BMW E36 cars. Take a look at the video below. But I’m warning you that you’re about to see some seriously messed up cars here. As a matter of fact, some cars look ugly as hell and it makes me wonder about BMW E36 car owners who keep updating their cars until they look exactly like a E46 BMW Or a Peugeot!! What the hell? Why not buy a BMW E46 or a Peugeot π right away? I’m almost sure that you will end up paying much more for the upgrade than just buying that car directly.
Take a look.

I’ve found these photos for a red BMW E36 and I thought I should share them with you. I like the car in general, but if this car was mine, I would’ve made some changes to make it red-hot, instead of just red.
First take a look at the photos and then read what I would change to make this car look awesome
Alright, I will begin. This car needs:-
- AC Schnitzer Rims (17-Inch): The 15-Inch rims look terrible on this car. I would change these immediately.
- Umnitza BMW E36 ZKW Headlights: This will add a unique & modern look to the car and will enhance the lighting as well.
- Seibon BMW E36 Carbon Hood: This should give the car an aggressive look. It will look awesome.
- AC Schnitzer BMW E36 Front Spoiler: AC Schnitzer body kit will give the car the racing look.
- AC Schnitzer BMW E36 Rear Spoiler: AC Schnitzer body kit will give the car the racing look.
- AC Schnitzer BMW E36 Left Mirror: Racing mirrors will make the car look great. They’ll boost the performance as well (not sure about the second one LOL! π )
- AC Schnitzer BMW E36 Right Mirror: You can’t get one mirror for the car, can you?
What do you think? Did I miss anything?

I’ve heard about illuminated door sills that can be installed on BMW E36 cars couple days ago. This is the first time I hear about these sills and they seem to be very cool. Imagine such door sills illumining with amber when you open your car’s door at night. They’ll definitely look awesome and make your car stand out from the crowd. Since that time, I’ve been looking for more information and sources about how to get these cute sills. Unfortunately, I was unable to find enough information about them. I’ve found couple photos for BMW door sills (not E36). Take a look:
And I found BMW E36 illuminated door sills on Amazon. Take a look:
What I hate about the sills from Amazon:
1. They’re only for E36 sedan, so if you have coupe, you can’t get them. π
2. The color is not Amber, so I’m not sure whether they’ll look good or not, but if they were Amber, they’ll definitely be worth buying.
What do you think? Maybe the color can be changed some how?

I’ve received an email yesterday from one of the BMW E36 Blog readers. His name is Kash (I’m not going to mention the full name because I’m not sure if he wants that). Now Kash has made some modifications to his car including 17" Wolfrace alloys, Hella angel lights, Hella angel spoiler and lowering springs. He sent me some nice photos of his BMW E36 car and asked me for tips to enhance his car’s exterior. First, lets take a look at his car then I will give him a simple tip that will make his car hot.
Kash’s car looks really clean and well maintained, but unfortunately, the gray skirt and bumpers are ruining that great look. So, if I were him, I would get a body kit (front spoiler, rear spoiler and sport mirrors) that will replace these parts altogether. I like the AC Schnitzer body kit although it’s expensive. It looks great on the E36 cars. Check it out below:
BMW E36 Carbon Fiber Front Spoiler – AC Schnitzer
BMW E36 3pcs Rear Spoiler – AC Schnitzer
BMW E36 Left Sport Mirror Housing – AC Schnitzer
BMW E36 Right Sport Mirror Housing – AC Schnitzer
I specially like the AC Schnitzer with their slogan on the mirrors, take a look at these:
Now, this is my opinion, so if I had that car, I would make this modification immediately (well, if I have the money π ), what about you guys? What do you suggest?
